Looks like an early start (and I can’t think of any reason to linger in Van). And once again Glenn squints into the rising sun
.
Today Glenn was not traveling through the most photogenic part of Texas. It had some nice green trees and grass, pleasant clouds, and even a rather hopeful-looking sigh - but I’m sorry, Glenn, your road doesn’t end in 1,000 feet - not even in 1,000 miles.. Keep on trucking. But admit it Glenn, you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel when you photograph an interstate rest area.

And even if the scenery wasn’t exciting, it’s still 83 miles safely tucked away.
